Welcome to Trees Are Good! We started this blog in 2014 to chronicle the temperature differences between our 2 pieces of property. It's a very interesting and ongoing log- haha get it? trees, log haha- OK enough of that... of temperatures from our pasture vs. our tree covered yard in Central Florida. We hope you enjoy Trees Are Good!
Our trees in the Tunnel of Trees seem to be holding in the heat...Could this be true? * Tuesday November 23, 2021 at 3:30 pm
We've seen this before where the Live Oaks, Laurel Oaks and Long Leaf Pine Trees in our yard seem to hold in the heat. It was 52 degrees at 7:00 am today and only reached a high of 65. At 3:30 today it's 63 degrees at our house where the Tunnel of Trees lives. Yet in the pasture where the sun has been shining it's still only 62 degrees. We've documented this in previous years on our Trees R Good blog. Once again the trees provide a great barrier to shelter us from heat and cold! Trees Are Good!
