Friday July 10, 2020 4:30 PM Trees Are Good and our Longleaf Pine might be moving out of it's Grass Stage!!

At 94 degrees in the Tunnel of Trees, it's a Hot Mo

But at 97 in the Pasture, it's really One Hot Mo!

In 2012 we planted this Longleaf Pine in our front yard in honor of our horse Cajun Kid Flower. We have since learned that they can spend several years in a "Grass Stage". Today, 8 years later, it looks like it finally might be moving toward being an actual tree! We can't wait to see what it grows up to be!
